Over the years, Daniel Horenberger, owner of Brass Ring Entertainment, has had the opportunity to work on carousels produced by every classic carousel manufacturer. Of all these machines, one has always towered over all the rest--The Illions Supreme. 
Lavishly Carved Figures
The Supreme features the finest horses and most elaborate trim ever carved, including the most famous carousel horse ever carved, the American Beauty Rose Horse. This horse is the most recognized and imitated horse in the entire carousel world. Its image has been used and misused in countless calendars, books, porcelains and in numerous contemporary artist's less-than-ideal imitations. Click on the horses below to see close-ups.
This machine is not a typical Dentzel, Looff or PTC. Rather, it is the rarest of the rare, the finest of the fine, the exquisitely carved creation of master carver Marcus Illions, considered by carousel experts to be the finest carousel carver ever.
